Set in beautiful Berwickshire countryside 3 miles from Duns, 12 miles west of Berwick-on-Tweed and just 1 hour by car from Edinburgh, this is a wonderful base for exploring this unspoilt part of Scotland.  Discover castles and abbeys, visit country houses and gardens, walk beside rivers or along cliff-tops, or just relax beside the open fire.

The cottage has three very comfortable bedrooms, a large kitchen-dining room, a characterful lounge complete with open fire, and a bathroom with over-bath power-shower. 

The accommodation is perfect for five adults and one baby, as the cottage has one double (queen-size) bed, three single beds and a large cot. 

Families with young children are very welcome.  We provide a high chair, stair-gate, fire-guard and bathroom equipment for toddlers. 

We provide plenty of books, games and jigsaws, as well as a TV and DVD player. There's even a table tennis set to use on the extending kitchen table.

Walkers and cyclists are also very welcome, and we supply maps and guide-books to help you to explore the surrounding countryside. 

Outside the cottage is a small garden with a picnic table and barbecue.  We have a lockable garage where you can store your bikes, and parking space for 2 cars.
