Golf and fishing enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice in the Scottish Borders.  Our cottage provides comfortable accommodation for 5 people, with 1 double and 3 single beds in 3 bedrooms,  so bring a group of friends and explore this unspoilt location.

Golf

There are 21 golf courses in the Scottish Borders.  Why not start with Duns Golf Course, voted the friendliest 18 hole course in the area by Freedom of the Fairways holders.

The par three, 170 yard sixth hole at Eyemouth Golf Course was recently voted Britain's most extraordinary golf hole. 

Three more golf courses nearby are The Hirsel, at Coldstream, The Roxburghe and Kelso Golf Course.

 Fishing

There is something here for everyone, from fishing for salmon in the River Tweed to sea trout in its tributaries; from rainbow trout in the local lochs to the wilder brown trout in the rivers; from the coarse fishing of the lower Tweed to sea fishing off the Berwickshire coast. 

Alternatively you may prefer to taste the local fish in our excellent restaurants. Try the Wheatsheaf at Swinton, just 3 miles from our cottage.
