Facilities

The cottage has 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin with cot, 1 single).  Beds are provided with duvets, pillows, blankets, sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases.  We also provide towels and tea-towels.

The lounge has an open coal fire (with fire-guard), which supplies heating for the central-heating system.  There is a TV, DVD player, books, maps, games and jig-saws. 

The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, washing-machine and tumble-dryer, as well as a toaster, kettle and coffee filter machine.

The upstairs bathroom has a full-size bath with over-bath shower, toilet, bidet and wash-basin.  We also provide a rubber bath mat and step-stool for our younger visitors.

Heating is from the coal-fired back-boiler, which supplies hot water for the central heating system.  Each room also has an electric fan-heater.

Prices above include coal for the open fire, but we ask visitors to pay for electricity by meter reading.  This usually amounts to about £2 per day.
